We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with a strong interest and experience in Artificial Intelligence to join our team. This role involves leveraging modern software engineering practices and cloud technologies to build innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Java development, a deep understanding of software engineering disciplines, and a passion for embracing probabilistic engineering with LLM-powered applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality Java applications using Spring Boot.
- Design, build, and deploy LLM-powered agentic workflows.
- Embrace and practice probabilistic engineering principles.
- Develop and deploy applications to cloud platforms such as GCP, PCF, or Azure.
- Implement and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Tekton, Terraform, Jenkins, or Cloud Build.
- Collaborate effectively with technical experts, Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and business stakeholders.
- Utilize Agile methodologies and tools such as CA Agile Central (Jira) for backlog management, iterations, and user stories.
- Develop microservices and understand fundamental data modeling.
- Apply software engineering disciplines including eXtreme Programming (XP), Clean Code, Software Craftsmanship, Lean methodologies, Paired/Mob/Ensemble programming, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate daily with team members.
- Show a strong curiosity for using technology to enhance customer experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software engineering disciplines (XP, Clean Code, Software Craftsmanship, Lean, Paired/Mob/Ensemble programming, TDD).
- Hands-on experience building LLM-powered agentic workflows.
- Strong willingness to embrace probabilistic engineering.
- Experience developing for and deploying to cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, PCF, Azure).
- Comfort with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery tools and pipelines (e.g., Tekton, Terraform, Jenkins, Cloud Build).
- Highly effective communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile tools like CA Agile Central (Jira), backlogs, iterations, and user stories.
- Experience in microservices development.
- Understanding of fundamental data modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to collaborate daily with team members.
- A strong curiosity for leveraging technology to delight customers.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 4+ years of IT experience.
- 3+ years of development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one coding language or framework (Spring Boot is essential).
- Experience with Front End (Software Engineering) concepts.
